Smith & Barnes Player Piano
By Dan Armstrong

To Deb, who owns the Smith & Barnes piano, it was made between
1919 and 1920, according to the Pierce Piano Atlas. That was the
last year of manufacture.

The 1926 Presto Buyer's Guide states they merged with the
Strohber Piano Company in 1906 and the Continental Piano Company
in July of 1924. This book also claims that the player action is
"one of the best".

Of course, that claim is made by the company and the guide just
reprinted it (a small bit of shameless advertising).
