Wolverine Zilotone
By Marty Roenigk

The Wolverine Zilotone was made, I think, in the 1930's. It is a
very well-made tin and lithograph toy of a clown playing a xylophone.

The disc has two parts to provide for two movements: the side by side
movement of the clown to select the note on the xylophone, and the up
and down movement of the clown's arms to hit the bars of the xylophone.

These are actually fairly scarce and will sell for anywhere from $150
to $500, depending on condition. They made a total of nine different
tunes, of which I think three came with the toy.
