In the late 1950's a recording was made called Stereo Spectacular.
It contained the 1812 Overture and Beethoven's "Wellington's  Victory.
I believe it was produced by RCA.

It was electronically "enhanced" to give divided channels.  Quite a
stereo demonstration recording of the 1950's.
