Replacement "Pull-On" Switches
By Craig Brougher

Everyone who owns a piano with a pull-on switch will be happy to know
that Player Piano Co. has found some of these strange critters that
looks as though they will require a minimum of modification to replace
the D/A switch directly, and possibly the old Ampico switch as well.

This looks like a dead man switch to me. It was apparently used on
motorboats or something. Very well made, and almost impossible to find.
The airplane pull-on switch was so hard to operate, that it would not
work. These have a nice, easy action.

So if anybody wants one, make a note of where you can buy them. I suspct
they will be going fast. D/A switches especially are falling apart left
and right, now. If you own a D/A, you should buy one of these just to
have it, in case you have to get it fixed.
