New Pluer Organ for M.S. Zaandam
By Robbie Rhodes

The "Titanic" movie has created a renewed interest in opulent ocean
liners, and so the luxury cruise lines are now preparing to delight well-
heeled customers with some fancy new appointments aboard their ships!

Tom Grace found an announcement that MMDer Elbert Pluer is now
constructing a large chromatic organ, to be delivered to Holland
America Lines in July 1999 for placement aboard the MS Zaandam.
The artist's illustration resembles a Mortier dance hall organ.

According to Holland America Lines the MS Zaandam, which is presently
under construction in Italy, will accommodate 1,440-passengers and is
scheduled for delivery late in 1999.

Congratulations, Elbert ! Could you tell us more about the new organ?
