Automatic Musical Co. Pianos
By John Rutoskey

I am interested in corresponding with anyone that owns or is interested
in coin pianos made by the Automatic Musical Company, forerunner of the
Link Piano Company. I am particularly interested pianos with the roll
housed in a tub under the keyboard.

I have questions about my instrument and would like to compare it
to others. There were some interesting variations between them,
in otherwise identical looking cases. Although I have not seen it,
I have been told of one that plays a zither behind the front glass
with tiny pluckers. Does anyone know any more about this one?

How many of these pianos and original rolls are known to exist?
I am wondering if there are enough instruments existing to merit
a roll project of music from the correct period for this instrument
such as ragtime, waltzes, marches, and two-steps.
