Hi MMDers,

In checking the classified ads in our local newspaper today, I ran
across an ad for a J. P. Seeburg piano.  After calling the seller, I
went to take a peek.  Its a Seeburg style A coin piano missing all of
its player parts.  It must have been stripped years ago, and has even
had wood filler applied to its coin slot hole.  Its in a very nice oak
case, and the piano itself does not appear to be too bad.  It can be
obtained for around 300.00 to 400.00.  The owner had no idea it had
originally been a coin piano.  The original art glass has been replaced
with a piece of clear beveled glass.  Is this considered as a small
treasure of any kind?

I can not decide if it warrants purchase, and if anyone else is
interested, I will gladly get you in touch with the seller.

Better yet, does anyone have the guts for sale?
