Shellac on Cardboard Music
By Philip Jamison

Shellac is commonly used to strengthen book music, but I see no need
for it if the organ is used in a private collection. If your keyframe
is properly adjusted, your books will not wear out. For constant
commercial use, I have no doubt that shellac helps.
