Phonographs and Graphophones

The name "Graphophone" is no typo.  That is the name used by Columbia
for their machines, as opposed to "Gramophones" made by Victor and
"Phonographs" made by Edison.  As far as a mailing list for phono
collectors, there is one, namely:
