Hi all,  Thanks for the responses about the Schaff Piano Company.
Okay, maybe I have it wrong altogether.  I was under the impression
that Schaff is Australian.

Being in South Africa, I am trying to find some place in the world
that has a more reasonable exchange rate to ours, i.e., not US dollars,
UK pounds or Deutschmarks.  I have heard from some sources that very
good quality leather and piano parts come from Australia.  Even the
Leather Supply House seems to get leather from Australia.

Do any of our Australian members maybe know who these suppliers are?
I cannot see why the stuff has to go from Australia to the USA and then
to South Africa.
