Users Guide for "Wind" Roll Editing Program
By John Farrell

Richard Brandle kindly sent me a copy of his excellent Wind piano roll
editing program; unfortunately, no instructions came with it and I have
spent some weeks figuring out how it works.

Most program user guides seem to be written for those who have some
knowledge of the intricacies of computing techniques, leaving absolute
beginners such as myself to flounder in the dark wondering what all
that jargon means.

With this in mind I have written a basic user guide to Wind -- no
jargon, no technical expertise necessary, no long words -- and I will
gladly send a copy of my file to any MMDer who requests one.

I cannot provide the program itself because Richard is the exclusive
owner and I have given my word not to distribute copies.

[ John is an expert writer, and I imagine that his user guide is both
[ informative and entertaining. We might name it "Wind for Dummies!"
