Seeburg H Orchestrion
By Marty Roenigk

Tim Trager provided some very interesting background on the Seeburg H
orchestrion, and was kind enough to share his original Seeburg H
brochure with MMD.

I want to update one comment that Tim made. Our Seeburg H, that most
recently was at Walt Disney World in Orlando, is already on display at
our National Register Crescent Hotel & Spa in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
It fits perfectly into the Victorian lobby.

Regrettably, we cannot risk allowing demonstrations of it until we move
down there permanently (now expected to be September of 1999), but in
the meantime it is nice to look at!

We also have a Mills Violano Virtuoso from the former Miles Musical
Museum in the lobby, and eventually we will have the Welte Salon
philharmonic organ in the Conservatory at the Crescent (first we have
to reconstruct the Conservatory!).

We invite you all to visit the Crescent Hotel and the Basin Park hotel
in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. If any of you are coming for the Blues
Festival during the June 7th weekend, stop by, we will be there, and
we will play the Seeburg H for you.
