Steel Rule Dies for Die-Cut Gaskets

John Dewey uses these dies like an arch punch to make his gaskets, but
I've seen them used on an old small-size printing press (the type about
a foot high).  The pressure is even and it seemed to work.  These
presses can be had from flea markets for around $100, I think.
