A friend from England is coming over this late summer and wanted me to
find a book for him.  I have a copy in my library and a most interesting
book it is indeed.  It is the autobiography of violinist turned
pianist, Harold Bauer.  The title is Harold Bauer, His Book and was
published by W. W. Norton in l948 (306 pages).  If anyone out there has
a copy for sale please let me know.  Bauer as most of you know is
intimately connected to reproducing piano rolls and performances of
piano roll concertos with live orchestras. I am interested in buying
rolls, player piano literature, and photographs of pianists. Let me hear
from you.
