I have a client whose piano is to go from Illinois to Alaska.  Since
she has not finished paying for the rebuilding the piano has not yet
gone.  The best price I got was from Mail Boxes Etc.  They claim they
will ship anything anywhere.  My guess is they buy the extra space in
short loads from existing movers.

To find a store in an area, check with the Piano Technicians Guild
(816)-753-7747 for the names of the local chapter officers for that
area.  The local officers will probably know which stores will be most
willing to work with you.
