Racehorses in Spain Run Clockwise

In July I attended the opening meeting of the new racecourse near
Malaga, in Southern Spain.  The horses run clockwise.

I did notice (on a construction notice about facilities to come)
that the Spanish for "boxes" is "boxes".  But this is as much American
or Irish influence as British !
