Paul Eakins' "Memory Lane Special"
By Brian Smith

Dear Art, Thanks for clarifying the identity of the Memory Lane
Special. In comparing the original Coinola to the Eakins' version,
it looks like Paul used the case and obviously the stained glass in
the middle section from a style C, and the instruments in the top
section are moved around, but the instrumentation is the same as a CO,
with the exception of the reiterating bells and the metal pipes. The
pipes are probably not enclosed.

In the original catalog description of the CO it says, "The pipes
are enclosed in a special sound chamber thereby beautifying the tones".
