Recordings of Works for Glass Harmonica
By Tom McAuley

I have the same Bruno Hoffman CD that Harvey Chao has. It has a
copyright date of 1987, and I presume the original analog recording was
made several years earlier. That puts Mr. Hoffmann's recording of the
Mozart piece many years before Mr. James' "first authentic recording"
of the same piece.

Since Hoffmann plays the "saucers" and James plays the "cups", does
that mean Mozart wrote specifically for the "cups"?
