Perfect Pitch
By Fritz Gellerman

All the discussion about perfect pitch, pitch memory or whatever,
reminds me of a scene in a movie a few years back which goes something
like this:

The private eye and his faithful sidekick, who is also a very hip
musician, are creeping along inside a scary darkened building when
all of a sudden there is a loud crash! The P.I. grabs the sidekick
and says, "What was that?" and the sidekick says, "B flat."
