Cork or Rubber for Wurlitzer Gaskets?
By Dave Clark

I am faced with the exact same dilemma this winter on a Wurlitzer
153. It is interesting to note that the original gaskets were rubber.
Currently the 153 has cork/rubber gaskets that I want to replace.

I am curious about the time-tested use of leather for gaskets; is there
a reason leather shouldn't be used for these gaskets? Where does one
buy sheet rubber?
