QRS "Indestructible" Piano Rolls

On a tour at the QRS factory four years ago, the guide told us about
Kevlar being used but abandoned.

We do use it in electronics, because is good insulator, and strong.
It is used in drafting too, because is size stable compared to paper.
But, it is too expensive.  Very much so yet, for a long time, so not
coming down.  I think Kevlar is DuPont, but that's a guess.
