Incompetence is Bliss
By Roger Waring

Julian Dyer's report on the philosophy of supposedly learned people
[000303 MMD] brings to mind this old (Arabic?) proverb:

He who knows not and knows that he knows not
-- he is unlearned: teach him

He who knows not and knows not that he knows not
-- he is a fool: shun him

He who knows, and knows not that he knows
-- he is asleep: awaken him

He who knows and knows that he knows
-- he is wise: follow him
