Tuning a Triola Mechanical Zither
By Philippe Rouillé

Dear MMd's, A friend of mine, who has no e-mail connection, wants
to tune his Triola mechanical zither. The usual literature (Bowers,
etc.) does not give that information, although I remember an article
was written on this instrument in an association's Journal, but I cannot
find the reference again.

Could someone give me the exact tuning of the 6 bass strings (each one
plays actually a whole chord with the 3 "sympathetic" strings they have
each, as may be seen on Bowers p. 356), and of the 25 melody strings ?

Many thanks for your answer.

Best regards,

Philippe Rouille (Paris, France)
