Jelly Roll Morton at Chicago Tribune Web Site
By Robbie Rhodes

See the Chicago Tribune's streaming video feature on Jelly Roll Morton
at http://www.chicagotribune.com/ws/front/0,1413,77,00.html

The headline says: "Jelly Roll Morton helped invent jazz in America.
In return, he was cheated and discarded by the industry he ignited.
As the Jazz Century closes, the Tribune has documented how an artistic
genius was robbed of his money, his dignity and his legacy."

Enjoy it, but with due caution. As often occurs in newspaper features,
this production sometimes seems tilted by calamity toward mass appeal,
instead of presenting a balanced analysis.

Hints: (1) Windows Media Player v6.4 allows the RealAudio file to be
saved to local disk file.  (2) Disable the server connection time-out;
these are huge files!
