B.A.B. Music Played On B.A.B. Organ
By Jeff Alterman

Two weeks ago or so ago (000919 MMDigest to be exact) I wrote an
article about my preference for B.A.B. band organ music over Wurlitzer
band organ music. It turns out that some people were very displeased
for my preference for B.A.B. band organ music for some reason. I think
that those people have never heard B.A.B. band organ music on an organ
that was worked on by the B.A.B. organ company.

I suggest to anyone who wants to hear what B.A.B. band organ music
can sound like is to go to the B&B Carousell at Coney Island and listen
to the Gebruder Bruder organ that was converted by the B.A.B. organ
company in 1935 to play 66-key B.A.B. rolls. Then they might appreciate
how good B.A.B. band organ music can sound. Maybe these people will
realize the B.A.B. band organ music will not compare to Wurlitzer band
music once they listen to it.
