Louisiana's Singing Governor Jimmie Davis Passes

I'm sorry to announce that our former Governor Jimmy Davis passed today
at 101 years old.  He never stopped working right into his late 90's.

Most people are familiar with his most famous song "You Are My
Sunshine."  Perhaps some of you have it on a piano roll.  I've got
several of his 78's on my Wurlitzer 1100 Juke box.  He was a great man
and was in about ten movies, mostly Westerns, I believe.
