Seek Pinion for Artizan Band Organ Roll Drive
By Lynn Zillmer

We need help! We have three Artizans under our care, a Model XA
belonging to an area park which we maintain for them, a model XA-a
belonging to one of our board members, and an Air Calio belonging to
the museum.

The roll drive is the same on all. A 90 degree bevel gear set drives
from the crankshaft to a vertical shaft. At the top of the vertical
shaft an 82-1/2 degree bevel gear set drives the tapered wooden roller
which connects to the roll drive through a friction wheel.

The problem on all three machines is that the 22-tooth brass pinion of
the upper bevel set is badly worn and desperately needs to be replaced.
Does anyone know of a source for this bevel pinion?

Thanks for your help.
