Rye Treasury of Mechanical Music Will Close
By Kevin McElhone

Just a reminder that the Rye Treasury of Mechanical Music will closing
towards the end of October 2002, after 6 years, as the lease on the
building is not being renewed.

You have less than 8 weeks to make a visit if you have not been yet.
The museum is only 150 metres from Rye Railway and Bus Station.
It is usually open 7 days a week, but best to telephone the previous
day to check; tel.: 01797 223345.

Part of the collection will be moved to the home of one of the
partners, Mr. Mick Doswell, who lives in Hastings, and it will be
open to groups of visitors by appointment only from Spring 2003.
