Hi all,  I've got this great idea.  I'm thinking of having everyone
send me their music boxes that they don't play anymore and can't sell.

I will take these Reginas and Paillards, gut them and line the
insides with velvet.  Just think of what great jewelry boxes they'd
make!  Where I would not find a lot of customers if I left them music
boxes (after all, who is interested in that stuff anymore), I could
certainly find lots of customers who would love to have a nice
polished up jewelry box.  I could get really fancy and put one of those
electronic movements you get in greeting cards in the bottom so when
you opened the lid you'd get a song.

Better keep them coming in because I will spend the money that I make
on them and need to convert more of these boxes.  Let's get a list
together of people who need real movements for other boxes that they
found that were gutted because I might have one that I took out of
another box that they might be able to use.  That way everybody will be
happy.  I'll take them out and as people find gutted ones I might even
have the one that came out of the one they found if I'm still alive.
We could have a big circular thing going on.

It's too bad that there aren't any of those big European machines
within my reach.  Just think of what great Chifferobes they'd make, and
they wouldn't cost near as much as they would with the guts in them.
Some of them even have lights.  All of this is great because just think
of the bucks I'll be making and now all those people have somewhere to
keep their jewelry, and they won't need to find someone to fix the
boxes.
