Absolutely not silly!  My dear pianist still has the Ivers & Pond
she learned to play on & its name is 'Baby Ivers', while another
larger piano is 'Mr. (something I've forgotten)', her harpsichord
also has a name & last but not least, the Bradbury she just obtained
is undergoing its christening as we speak.

I call my 'babies' various things depending on my mood, but the
20-3/4-inch Regina is definitely 'Big Mama' :)
