Pianocorder to MIDI File Format Conversion
By Jim Moore

Has anyone taken the time to convert Pianocorder tapes to CD's or
floppies that will play on PianoDisc or Yamaha systems? Or is it
a conflict of formats, etc.?

Jim Moore

[ It's a licensing problem. At his web page, "Pianocorder to MIDI
[ Project" (http://dp70.dyndns.org/pc2mid/), Mark Fontana writes:
 [
[ "The entire Pianocorder library is now the property of Yamaha
[ Corporation, and select performances are available exclusively for
[ the Yamaha Disklavier line of reproducing pianos. For Yamaha product
 [ information, visit Yamaha's web site (http://www.yamaha.com/)."
