Recreating Piano Roll Labels
By Dan Wilson, London

In 021219 MMDigest, Paul Baker asked for a scan of the roll label
for : 99335 Gay Broadway / comic opera hits / 1912

If Paul is unsuccessful, he might like to make friends with John
Phillips, <John.Phillips@utas.edu.au.geentroep>, a member of this
forum, who can fake up the most incredible recreations of old piano
roll labels using fonts he has generated from genuine ones.

John did one for me of a Hupfeld Animatic Beethoven roll, complete
with pianist's signature, which no-one can tell from genuine.

(Remember to remove the ".geentroep" when mailing)
