I was saddened to learn of Dean Randall's passing.  Another area
of his wide ranging interests not mentioned yesterday, was his skill
using computer graphics and typography, to replicate roll labels.

Although I never met that gentleman, we share that interest, and we
enjoyed a considerable correspondence over the years, about it.  He
gave me a lot of help and encouragement with my first efforts along
those lines.

He will be missed.
