Perfection Music Box Company of New Jersey
By Matthew Caulfield

The Bowers Encyclopedia gives a very brief history of the company,
describes its very IM-perfect damper system, and illustrates one disc
box on p. 243. Formed in Jersey City, N.J., in 1897, moved to Newark
early in 1900, employed over two dozen people from 1898 to 1901.
That's the history, with attribution to Hughes Ryder.
