As it has come up once again, I decided to go to the MMD Archive and
I just finished reading _every_ article, in the Archives re hot hide
glue.  Well, that was entertaining and informative!

This is fascinating stuff.  I feel I have a much better understanding
of the subject, and am looking forward to using this amazing compound
for the first time.  Even though I have no immediate plans to use this
glue for a player restoration, I want to try it for other woodwork
repair, just to learn more by experiencing it firsthand.

As per usual, the definitive explanations, the hows and whys, of the
subject were made very clear by Craig Brougher.  Also, found very good
collaborative and helpful information by D.L. Bullock and John Tuttle,
among others.

Any mystery about, or trepidation I might have had, thinking this
might be a difficult product to utilize, has been dispelled from
my reading of the archives.  Now it just seems a rather fascinating
substance I want to experience firsthand.  I'm looking forward to
trying out the various suggestion for heating and applying the glue:
small lidded jars in water bath, clear squeeze bottles, the proper
type of brushes, etc.

Also, the other most important consideration of "where to get the
good stuff" I feel has been answered in my research too -- I am going
to order some from John Tuttle soonest!
