Musical Box With Bells and Reed Organ
By John Ledwon

I just bought a music box that I would like some information on. It
has the usual combs and 9 bells plus an 18-note reed organ, all played
by a large cylinder. I have posted some pictures of it on my web site:

the case: http://organhouse.com/musicbox/case.JPG
Attachment thumbnail the mech., both with the glass lid closed and open: http://organhouse.com/musicbox/mech.JPG
Attachment thumbnail the combs that need repair and the reed organ actuators: http://organhouse.com/musicbox/combs.JPG
Attachment thumbnail showing the faded name inside the left side of the case; I think it says J.H. Sollee but it is pretty faded: http://organhouse.com/musicbox/name.JPG
Attachment thumbnail I would appreciate any help identifying it and where I might get the combs repaired. The reed organ works okay except for one note and hopefully that will be easy to repair. Regards, John Ledwon
