Source of Historical Documents
By Kevin McElhone

I know Todd Augsburger well and we have frequently exchanged photo-copies
of original items to help each other with research, particularly to do
with the recent book "The Organette Book" which I wrote and a future
work in progress by Todd.

I would suggest that the cheapest way to obtain this information is to
buy a copy of the relevant book containing old Patents, old advertising
material and so forth. It is surely the information which is important,
not owning the original item. I just hope the buyers will be as
willing to share as Todd and myself are.

Many county reference libraries and the British Newspaper Library have
copies of old periodicals which contain large amounts of original
advertising material, very useful for research.
