Fix the Tracking System to Avoid Roll Tearing
By Eliyahu Shahar

Hi, I tried not to write this note but I couldn't stop myself. When
I see a statement that I strongly disagree with I have to say something.

How do you avoid tearing rolls? It's simple: fix the tracking mechanism
and regulate it. If your tracking mechanism is working correctly and
nothing was modified from the original, you will not tear any roll
other than those that are essentially powder (that would tear if my
mother in law even looked at them).

I would suggest that perhaps Marc's tracking mechanism is working and
that could be the reason that he isn't tearing rolls. I will also note
that I recently rebuilt my Ampico and until I had the tracking
mechanism adjusted I shredded a few beautiful rolls. Now it hasn't
done any damage to any roll.
