Remove Spool Brake to Avoid Roll Tearing
By Marc Goodman

Hi -- Just a note to Mr. Shahar regarding roll tearing. Yes, proper
tracking is important when playing rolls without tearing (i.e., on the
take-up spool). However, it is still on _rewind_ that I find where
rolls will tear the most. Hence, my suggestions about removing the
lower brake and pulling out the left spool end. I hope this will not
start a war of any sort!

Best,
Marc Goodman

P.S.: I have many good 88-note rolls that I would like to sell, as well
as some Ampico. Contact <marc888@cs.com> or tel.: 1-216-961-4231
