Wurlitzer Style 148 Band Organ in Toulouse
By Philippe Crasse

Hello Robbie, Have you yet forgotten your visit at the 1996 and 1999
Waldkirch Organ Festival? Eve and I are proud to put on show one of
the beautiful Wurlitzers in Europe. It was made between 1896 and 1906,
and works with paper rolls (55 holes on the tracker bar).

On each side life-sized drummers play snare and bass drums. It's
on-line at http://www.mechanical-music.com/pag_musee/wurlitzer_e.htm
with all the collectibles we love.

Kind Regards from the sunny South of France

[ And indeed it is a beautiful organ. I think Philippe told me that
[ it was originally a barrel organ by DeKleist, later converted by
[ Wurlitzer to play Style 148 rolls. Visit the Crasse's collection
