Hi Roger,  There is no listing in the "Presto Buyers' Guide 1926".

The "Pierce Piano Atlas 10th Edition" has two listings:

  Godfrey, Cornelius, 29 Thompson, New York 1834
and
  Godfrey, 235 High Street, Exeter, Southampton, London (1885-1935)
  also made Waldstein, Kellman and Burnand.  Sr. No. 10441 no date.
