Nor-Cos Pocket Organ Player Harmonica
By Ed Schmidt

I would like to obtain information about the Nor-Cos Pocket Organ.
This is a red plastic roll playing harmonica. It carries the patent
number assigned to Harry Pullen, who made the PlaRola organ in Easton,
Maryland. The PlaRola Co. went out of business at the beginning of
World War Two, when harmonicas could no longer be obtained from
Germany. The Nor-Cos instrument was made sometime after the war.

The questions are (1) who was behind the Nor-Cos company, (2) where
were the instruments made, and (3) when were they made? A picture of
the instrument can be found on my web site, http://www.music-rolls.com/
