Identity of Music Roll QRS 31271
By Robert Perry

Hi all, Can anyone with a rollography or QRS catalogue help identify
QRS #31271? It's a rag roll, and the copy I have is missing the box
and entire leader. I got the catalogue number from the very end of the
roll, which was stamped there along with 'Spooled by A.J.'

The only clues to dating the roll are that the spool is of wood, and
the roll is stamped Tempo 60 (Andantino). It's marked with a dynamic
line. Looking through 'Rags and Ragtime', it appears the 312xx series
would date from around mid-1912.
