Hazards of Ozone
By D. L. Bullock

I believe I remember something about ozone causing rubber to
disintegrate. Perhaps also hastening oxidation of cloth, felt, rubber,
leather, or neoprene. I wonder if anyone knows more. Getting rid of
musty smells is good but if it causes restoration to be needed more
often than 30-50 years then would it be worth it?

Perhaps a dehumidifier would be more appropriate.
