It was interesting (and sometimes very surprising) for me as an active
roll producer to read all the comments on the subject.

For more than ten years I have been recutting music rolls for about
23 different systems.  Until now, more than 2000 different titles have
been published and sold to many international customers.  And the list

  etc., etc.

Yes, I've sold several thousand rolls over the years, but regarding
the huge investments in developing a 100% accurate system, I have to
realize that there is almost no profit in recutting rolls.  The idea of
building a roll cutter was to supply my customers with perfect working
rolls for their fresh restored instruments.  Some collectors are
probably not aware the amount of work, time and money, that is needed
to make a high quality copy of an old roll.
