Hello John, If it is determined that your PianoDisc cannot play MIDI
files straight from your computer, or cannot otherwise be adapted to
do so, then you should consider selling them off and invest the money
in a Pianocorder system. Unlike most other options, a Pianocorder can
be had relatively cheaply, so almost anyone can afford to have a player
piano. If you are at all handy, installing a Pianocorder will be quite
easy.

The Pianocorder system dates back to 1978, but they are a rock solid
system and, with a little tender loving care, will easily last another
30 years or more. All parts are available and there are still
technicians who can repair components as needed.

Visit Mark Fontana's site to read all about his fantastic Pianocorder
player system that allows you to play MIDI files of piano roll scans
from your computer. The MIDI player program has a piano roll display,
tempo, volume, and transposition adjustments. Also, there is now a
wireless kit available, so no cable between the computer and the piano!
See http://dp70.dyndns.org/pianocorder/wapc/

>> Also, besides Spencer Chase's web site, do others post roll scans
>> for playing on MIDI pianos? I know lists have been made of piano
>> roll sites, but is there a listing of either pay or free e-roll
>> sites as well?

You will also find a listing of free and pay sites for downloading
player piano roll scans at the URL given above. There are many links
and lots of information on the web site if you wish to learn more about
the Pianocorder system. Also, visit the Pianocorder Forum, where
fellow Pianocordites share information, ask questions, get help, buy
and sell, etc.: http://www.voy.com/33099/

I'm just an enthusiastic user of his systems.
