Playing 88-Note Rolls on Ampico Player Piano
By Christine Robinson

Larry, That's very clever -- I tried your method and it worked!
I suppose putting the 'V' of the piano roll paper exposing the
expression holes in the tracker bar, zero tempo, and then turning
the motor on allows the player action to take a big breath before he
begins to play. As you say, no expression, but quite good listening
from another room.

Of course you have to run back quick time as the 88-note doesn't
automatically rewind as the Ampico roll does, but good fun -- thanks!
