Internet Auction Bidding War
By Don Teach

The guy who bought the Coinola poster is someone I know fairly well.
He does not use a bidding program. He simply did not read the ad
and thought he was buying a rare original poster. I have or had the
original poster but the problem was that the reprint is so good you
can not tell it from the original other than a few wear marks. He was
sickened when I told him he had bought a reprint and should have read
the advertisement a little closer. Needless to say, I chewed him out
as he often buys items without really looking at the fine print.

When I took law classes the rule of law was, "What the big print giveth,
the fine print taketh." I still have not been educated as to why some
people bid what they bid on eBay. It astounds me that one week a roll
may bring several hundred dollars and then a month later the same roll
will sell for one fifth what it sold for the month before.

As always I am looking for Automatic Music Co "H" rolls to copy.
