Removing PVC-E Glue
By Pete Knobloch

The easiest way to remove anything that has been glued with PVC-E
glue is use a heat gun. The glue gets soft when heated. This also
goes for anything sealed with Phenoseal.

If you want to get the glue off of the metal, try soaking them in
water. I am currently working on a Schultz player that has clear
rubbery glue that was used to glue the pouch pneumatics to the tier
boards. I suspect it was PVC-E. Using a water soaked rag and
a chisel cleaned the glue from the wood.
