Thank-you to everyone who responded to my request for #24 x 2-1/2" leg
screws. I ended up buying #24 x 3-1/2" screws from Schaff Piano Supply.
Then I cut them to the proper length and shaped the tip accordingly.
They have exactly the same thread pitch and spacing as the original
screws.  The modifications took less than five minutes per screw.
Once the heads were painted black and installed, you could not tell that
they were replacements.
